Local officials removed a road sign for Trang Airport that was wrongly spelled with a comical phonetic transliteration a day after it became a viral post on Facebook.

The expansion of the passenger terminal at Trang International Airport to cope with rising numbers of travellers will be completed mid-2019, the director general of the Airports Department said on Thursday.
